ANEWS is back!
ANews, the French Amiga computer magazine is back.
After a few months' absence, from september 1999 Anews magazine will once again be
available from news-stalls in France.
It will also be available by subscription both in France and abroad.
Created entirely on Amiga computers, using PageStream (a professional
publishing program), the magazine will continue to provide the type of
in-depth articles that were the basis of its past success, along with new
regular features in response to our readers' ever-increasing expectations.
The magazine will be delivered with a ready-to-use and interfaced cover
CD-ROM.
You can already sign up as a subscriber via our Web site, http://www.amiganews.com.
This site is also a rendezvous for all Amiga lovers and it is possible
to chat with the editorial team.
There is still a continual stream of new developments in the Amiga world,
with the announcements of new PowerPC and 3D graphics boards, OS 3.5, and even
a new motherboard (Boxer) among all the new projects or in the pipeline for the near
future.
Amiga computers are still capable for fulfilling current needs, whether for
programming (C, C++, Java, etc), 2D or 3D graphics, music, video,
and many more. You also have all you need to connect to the
Internet, and thus to communicate with the whole world.
The ambitious plans announced by GATEWAY for the Amiga confirm the
extraordinary potential of this machine :
- New OS (QNX/Neutrino based kernel)
- New Hardware
- New processor(s)
- New Amiga range, from the Web TV machine to the professional
workstation, via the personal computer
- Developer support
- New software and ports of well-known applications from other
machines and OS's.
- Wider distribution with vast promotional campaigns etc
For all these reasons, it is essential that a magazine such as ANews
returns to the newsagents' shelves, in order to keep French-speaking
users informed.
ANews is back and ready to face the future!
